When you forget exactly why you should be grateful for God's Grace in saving us, and why we should obey him out of appreciation, remember, "While we were yet sinning against Him, Christ died for us!"
ROMANS 10 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
God has put a burden on my heart to share his gospel. I used to not think at all about the lost souls around me, but through the encouragement of the people at Way of the Master, and the prodding of the Holy Spirit, I began to see the compassion Christian's ought to have for lost souls. Jesus certainly showed this compassion but for one reason or another, it seems to easily escape us. We are just sure that's not our "calling" or "gift." What state would you be in if God did not work in someone else's life to show you the way of Salvation. Look around you, think of their eternal destination if they don't know Jesus, then drop your pride and speak the truth in love!
